The now infamous Dragon Ball Z opening theme "Cha-La Head-Cha-La" was released in Japan on May 1, 1989. The original song was written by Yukinojo Mori, music composed by Chiho Kiyooka, with arrangement by Kenji Yamamoto, and performed by Hironobu Kageyama.

"We Gotta Power" is the second opening for the anime series Dragon Ball Z, succeeding to "Cha-La Head-Cha-La". The lyrics on the original song were written by Yukinojo Mori, music composed by Keiju Ishikawa, with arrangement from Keiju Ishikawa, and performed by Hironobu Kageyama.

Dan Dan Kokoro Hikareteku (DAN DAN 心魅かれてく; "Gradually, You are Charming My Heart") is the opening theme song of the anime series Dragon Ball GT. The lyrics were written by Izumi Sakai, music composed by Tetsuro Oda, with arrangement from Takeshi Hayama, and it is performed by Field of View.
